This year I used stencils from Pumpkin Masters like before, but with a difference. I used patterns that called for thin scrapers rather than saws, to peel away the pumpkin skin and create a more diffuse glowing effect. It worked great, my first try, although I did unfortunately bungle Lady Liberty's face. I received a lot of praise for the cat, though.
